Oniric Matter

De Marchi Verona

In the oniric world the concepts of inside and outside are meaningless and architecture’s function loses its scope.

At the 2023 edition of Fuori Salone, in Milan, De Marchi Verona presented their first four porcelain coating collections; “Arena” recalling the typical arches of the ancient Roman arena in Verona, “Maya” which inspires the shapes of its tiles from the ancient architectures and ancestral symbols of the South American civilization, “Calipso” that takes its name from the Greek goddess of the sea and with its shapes reminds the ripples of the water and “Cross” designed to be bold yet elegant and grounding its forms in the punk culture. We worked with De Marchi Verona’s art director Giacomo Totti on these five images, the goal was to set the collections in an interior\exterior environment to highlight the properties and versatility of porcelain coating and enhance the tiles’ aesthetic.
